Welcome to the official website of Alex Vazquez — a Chicano multidisciplinary artist and veteran tattooer with over 16 years of experience in the Treasure Valley. Born and raised in Caldwell, Idaho, Alex began his tattoo journey at just 16 years old and has since established himself as a respected creative force in the region.
Now based in the heart of downtown Boise, Alex owns Treasure Valley Ink and brings a one-of-a-kind style to every tattoo. He mixes techniques from tattooing, airbrushing, pinstriping, and even building lowriders to create unique work.
His work is rooted in a deep commitment to transcendent, meaningful art, developed through a highly personalized, one-on-one collaborative process with each client.

Larger tattoos require a few sessions to complete. Typically, most projects are priced by the hour, $150 hr. Estimates vary on size, design, placement, skin, and other. For this reason, estimates are not exact price indicators.

Tattooing is a collaborative process. For that reason, the final layout won’t be complete until the day of the appointment.

For larger projects, sessions can average 8-10 hours. This is all dependent on skin, breaks, pain tolerance, etc.

Deposits: All appointments require a nonrefundable deposit ranging from $200 to $450, depending on the complexity of the tattoo. This deposit is applied towards the total cost of your tattoo on the day of your session.
Purpose of Deposit: The deposit covers time spent on research, drawing the design, and other preparations for your tattoo.
No-Show Policy: Deposits are forfeited in the event of a no-show.
Rescheduling: To retain your deposit in case of rescheduling, a minimum of 72 hours' notice is required.

Eating: Eat a good meal before your appointment.
Comfort: For larger pieces, consider bringing snacks, blankets, pillows, headphones, and a fully charged phone or iPad to stay as comfortable as possible.
